YOGA&fitness INSTRUCTOR, CNP

Emma is a Vancouver based yoga and fitness instructor, and a certified nutritional practitioner. You'll often find her in her favourite cafe with a new book, her journal, and an almond milk latte- taking time to do the simple things she loves. Another thing she is fond of is traveling, the exploration of other cultures and the beauty of places she has never seen has always instilled a strong sense of wanderlust in her. But at the end of the day she was drawn back to her home town, she says nothing compares to the perfect combination of city, beach, and mountain filled skylines of Vancouver.  She has always followed her passions and intuition which led her down the path of educating herself and others on their well being.

From a young age she has had an intense curiosity to always learn and grow- one of her favourite things is to encourage others to do the same. She is driven by the desire to guide others in being in touch and clear with themselves, through this she believes you can live your dreams. Her classes and teachings will inspire you to live an authentic life best suited for you.  

She currently teaches classes full time and is also taking private clients.

FITNESS

Emma has always had an affinity for movement. She grew up dancing through her childhood and teens, and in her late teens began boxing. Life synchronicity pushed her into teaching barre and boxing, and she has found so much joy in teaching both formats. 

Her fluid classes enable a cathartic experience to release and workout. She teaches to all levels and brings a powerful yet playful energy to her classes. 

 

YOGA

Emma was drawn to yoga at a time in her life that she needed healing. Yoga helped her find depth and a way to connect her mind, body, and soul in a way she never knew was possible. She  completed her first 200HR YTT in Bali in 2012 with Awakened Life School of Yoga. 

She teaches Power Yoga, Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Buti Yoga, and Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga. 

She finds an importance in moving intuitively. Her creative sequencing combines pranayama and asana to accommodate every student in the room. You will leave her classes feeling grounded, calm, and fully in touch with your mind, body, and soul.

NUTRITION

Emma has always had an interest in food and nutrition. She loves exploring new recipes and in the evening she'll often be in the kitchen cooking for friends or family. 

She graduated from The Institute of Holistic Nutrition in 2014. Her love for cooking, and knowledge of nutrition allow her to formulate meal plans and cooking lessons  specific to every clients need.
